Visual Projects
Below are some links to the visual works that I would say I'm most proud of!
The World of Tomorrow as Seen Yesterday
This is an earlier presentation of mine comparing the themes of The Twilight Zone and Star Trek as well as discussing the key differences between the two shows' representations of human nature and the future.

I highlight this presentation for two reasons.

Firstly, I feel that analyzing media can be useful in any field, and I feel as though doing creative exercises such as this presentation can help us to think creatively when looking at real world problems.
What I mean is, if we can find meaning in media and understand why media is presenting the future the way it is or understand why people choose to highlight specific themes (such as racism, fear towards totalitarianism, discovery, etc.) we can be better equipped to talk to those individuals about how we should move forward.

My second reason for highlighting this presentation is that it is, by all counts, very rough and I want to use it as a benchmark for improvement in comparison to my later presentations.

Lachrymae, Op. 48
Group Presentation
This presentation was given in my second year at the University of Arizona. It was a presentation focused on researching and discussing Benjamin Britten's Lachrymae, Op. 48.

For this presentation, I was tasked with gathering all of the information needed for the presentation, as well as in charge of the order of slides. In that sense, each of the slides created were done by myself. However, the only slides that my group members did not alter and still showed my method of creating slides are slides 3-7.

I chose this presentation because I feel as though it is important to note that by this point, my presentations were becoming more refined, but still cluttered in terms of info on the screen.

However, in terms of an informative presentation, I feel it is a definite improvement over the previous one.

Final Communication Plan
Group Project
My final presentation that I wish to highlight came during my first semester at Eller. This was the final of three presentations regarding how interns would tackle analyzing, discussing, and suggesting solutions to communication issues at Uber.

The slides I was responsible for creating were slides 7, 12, 13, and 17, as well as providing the phrase used on slide 15.

I feel as though this presentation is maybe both the best example so far of how I have improved in making presentations, as well as a good example of presentations in general. The slides aren't that cluttered, and the visual is held in higher regard over words that would clutter how it looks.
